Count me in Cash

Tournaments usually involve using vacation time and flying across the country. Teams are put together from gathering interest for each event and then firming up everyones commitment.  Once we have a confirmed team we can beging the process of getting the team organized.
  1. Commitment and Planning: Count me in Cash act as a tangible sign of a players commitment. When players pay their count me in cash, usually not cash but anyway. When players etransfer a non-refundable $300 deposit it reduces the likelihood of last-minute cancellations and no-shows. This is crucial because we are scheduling restaurants, airlines, and hotels.
  2. Revenue Assurance: The 'Count Me In Cash' provides an easy way to ensure we have enough money to pay for the tournament fee which is often over $2,000 dollars
  3. Player Engagement: The act of making the payment also imporves player engagement. It gets players involved and often kick starts training programs as players can start to sense the upcoming competition.
  4. Reduced back out Rates: Once a player has invested their 'Count Me In Cash,' they are more likely to honor their commitment and if unavoidable the team has some money to entice a replacement player,
  5. Convenience for Players: A deposit system eliminates the need for players to pay the full amount upfront and provides a level of flexibility.

In summary, 'Count Me In Cash' or reservation deposits are a win-win strategy for both players and teams. They create commitment, provide upfront revenue, imroves player engagement, mitigates risks and reduces the chance of players backing out.
